Seamounts and oceanic islands rise from the seafloor provide suitable habitat for a diverse range of biological assemblages including Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems (VMEs). Whilst they have been focus some work globally, there has little description physical environments seamounts in South Atlantic Ocean. In this study, we characterized benthic assemblage composition 13 spanning 8–40°S within exclusive economic zones (EEZs) Ascension Island, Saint Helena Tristan da Cunha. Drop camera imagery was collected between 170 1000 m. All fauna present images were identified quantified, multivariate statistics used to describe identify their environmental drivers. Benthic communities temperate regions (Tristan Cunha archipelago) shown be distinct those found tropics, with latitude depth as key drivers composition.
